About This Program
Millions of children in India drop out of school before completing their basic education — not because they lack ability, but because poverty, distance, and circumstance stand in their way. United for Society is building a programme that places learning centres in underserved communities, connects children with scholarships, puts books and materials in their hands, and equips teachers with better tools. We are starting in Hyderabad and plan to scale across Telangana and neighbouring states as our capacity grows.
Our Key Initiatives
Bridge Learning Centres
Accelerated learning courses for out-of-school children to re-enter formal education at the right grade level — taught by trained community educators in local languages.
Scholarship Programme
Need-cum-merit scholarships covering school fees, books and uniforms for children from low-income households — so cost is never the reason a child stops learning.
Digital Literacy
Tablet and computer-based learning introduced in government schools so children in underserved areas are not left behind in a digital world.
Teacher Capacity Building
Workshops and peer-learning sessions for government school teachers on child-centred teaching, activity-based learning, and technology integration.
