About This Program
Environmental degradation disproportionately affects the poor — they live nearest to polluted rivers, breathe the most toxic air, and lose their livelihoods first to floods and droughts. Our environmental programs are built around the belief that ecological sustainability and human development go hand in hand. We conduct mass plantation drives, educate communities on waste management, and install solar energy in rural schools.
Our Key Initiatives
Mass Tree Plantation
Annual drives in October (Van Mahotsav) and July (World Environment Day) planting 20,000+ native trees with community groups.
Clean River Campaigns
Monthly river clean-ups on the Yamuna, Ganga and Sabarmati ghats, with 500+ volunteers per drive.
Solar Energy for Schools
Installation of solar panels and LED lighting in 30 off-grid rural schools, reducing energy costs and improving study hours.
Eco-Club Network
Student-led environmental clubs in 80 schools conducting awareness drives, composting and water conservation projects.
