About This Program
Rural India is home to 65% of our population but receives a disproportionately small share of development resources. Our Rural Development program takes a comprehensive approach — building sanitation infrastructure, installing solar street lights, running digital literacy centres for farmers, and providing technical support for sustainable agriculture. We have impacted 200+ villages across 7 states.
Our Key Initiatives
Sanitation Infrastructure
Construction of individual household toilets and community toilet blocks in ODF-lagging villages, with hygiene behaviour change communication.
Solar Street Lighting
Installation of solar-powered street lights in unelectrified lanes and village centres, improving safety and community life.
Digital Literacy
Tablet-based digital literacy centres teaching farmers, women and youth to access government services, banking and markets online.
Farmer Support
Agronomist-led workshops on natural farming techniques, water conservation, crop diversification and access to Kisan Credit Cards.
