Programme Status
About This Program
Rural Telangana — like rural India broadly — often lacks the basic infrastructure and economic opportunities that urban residents take for granted. Our rural development programme is being designed around the specific needs of villages in and around Hyderabad's peri-urban belt and Telangana's interior districts. We plan to address sanitation, rural energy access, digital literacy, and farmer support — working alongside local gram panchayats and community leaders.
Our Key Initiatives
Sanitation Infrastructure
Support for construction of household and community toilets in villages lagging on open defecation free status — paired with hygiene behaviour change communication.
Solar Street Lighting
Installation of solar-powered street lights in village lanes and common areas without reliable electricity — improving safety, study time, and community life after dark.
Digital Literacy for Farmers
Training sessions helping farmers and rural youth access government portals, digital banking, market price information, and welfare schemes from their phones.
Farmer Support & Sustainable Agriculture
Agronomist-guided workshops on water conservation, natural farming alternatives, crop diversification, and access to Kisan Credit Cards and PM schemes.
