About This Program
Hyderabad has a significant stray animal population — dogs and cats that are injured, malnourished, or suffering without care. Our animal welfare programme extends our commitment to compassion beyond human beneficiaries. We are building a volunteer vet network, planning regular vaccination drives for community animals, and developing awareness programmes in schools and residential colonies. We believe how a community treats its animals reflects its deepest values.
Our Key Initiatives
Stray Animal Rescue & Care
A volunteer-led rescue response for injured, sick, or abused stray animals in Hyderabad — providing first aid, veterinary referral, and temporary shelter.
Vaccination Drives
Free rabies and distemper vaccination drives for community dogs and cats in residential colonies — protecting both animals and the people living alongside them.
Responsible Ownership Awareness
School programmes and colony campaigns on ethical animal treatment, the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act, and the responsibilities that come with keeping pets.
Spay & Neuter Support
Partnerships with veterinary clinics to offer subsidised or free spay/neuter procedures, helping humanely manage the stray animal population over time.
